The Castle Bytham Midsummer Festival is an absolute playground for kids! Whether they love action, adventure, creativity or just running wild in the sunshine, there’s tonnes to keep them smiling all weekend long.

We’ve got archery, tea cups, a bouncy castle, crafty makes, hook-a-duck, and loads of open space for burning off energy. There’s a sweet stall packed with pick ’n’ mix and slushies, plus all the festival food favourites — pizza, crepes, ice cream, burgers and sausages.

Kids can enjoy all the live music, cheer on (or take part in!) the 5k race, and watch brilliant entertainers from Morris dancers to the odd friendly dinosaur wandering through the crowds. And don’t forget Sunday’s huge street market, bursting with treasures — perfect for spending pocket money.

In short: it’s a dream weekend for families. Bring the kids, bring their friends, and let the fun begin!

CHURCHILL SUMMER CAMPS QUAD BIKING

Kids Quad Biking will be on offer in the rear field, just downhill from the car park. Churchill Summer Camps are bringing their quad bikes for children to enjoy in the safety of an inflatable circuit. £4 for 4 minutes of mayhem!!

Dress up as a car and follow the driving instructor through a silly obstacle course!
