facilities

Facilities are available across the festival site to help you make the most of your visit.

A range of facilities will be available throughout the Castle Bytham Midsummer Festival to help you enjoy your visit.

Toilets
Men’s and women’s toilets are located on the Meadow and will be clearly signposted.

Food & Drink
A variety of food and drink stalls will be available across the festival site, offering something for all tastes. Free drinking water is also provided. 

First Aid
A first aid point will be available throughout the festival weekend staffed by a qualified paramedic. Please speak to a steward or volunteer if you require assistance.

Information & Support
Festival stewards and volunteers will be present across the site and happy to help with directions, information, or lost property enquiries.

Seating & Shelter
Informal seating (bales of hay) will be available on the Meadow. Shelter tents will be in place to provide cover from rain or sun. Visitors are welcome to bring their own chairs, picnic blankets, umbrellas and similar items.

Waste & Recycling
Please use the bins provided around the site to help us keep the village tidy
.

Recyclable pint and half-pint glasses will be used for a refundable £1 deposit.  

 

Camping

We can provide a pitch for festival goers who would like to camp but this must be agreed in advance. If you are interested please contact admin@midsummerfestival.co.uk with a subject line that includes 'camping'.
