Accessibility Information for Festival Visitors

The Castle Bytham Midsummer Festival aims to be as welcoming and accessible as possible for all visitors. Below is information to help you plan your visit.
Accessible Parking
Dedicated accessible parking is available at Glenside Doctors Surgery for Blue Badge holders. This parking area is located close to the festival site to minimise walking distance.
Accessible Toilets
Accessible toilet facilities are available at Castle Bytham Village Hall as well as on the meadow site. These will be clearly signposted and available throughout the festival weekend.
Terrain & Surfaces
The festival takes place across village streets and grassed areas. Some areas may be uneven or grass-covered, which can be affected by weather conditions. We recommend suitable footwear and allowing extra time to move between locations. Most grass areas should be accessible to motorised mobility scooter but not necessarily by manual wheelchairs.
Assistance & Support
Our volunteers are happy to help where they can. If you need assistance during your visit, please speak to a steward or festival volunteer.
Planning Your Visit
If you have specific access requirements or questions not covered here, please contact us in advance so we can help you plan your visit as comfortably as possible. You can email admin@midsummerfestival.co.uk.
